Years Gone By

I wish to be walking by the sea,

Hand in hand,

Children running in front of us,

Laughing having fun,

Making memories.

I wish to be standing in unison,

Waiting for those all important results.

Being the proudest parents there can be.

Making memories.

I wish to be watching side by side

As the L plates are ripped of

And the car being taken out for the first time

Laughing

Making memories.

I wish to be walking by the sea

Hand in hand

Children walking in front of us

Laughing having fun

Their children walking in front of them

Laughing having fun

Making memories.

Just like all the years gone by!
