We have a new obsession in the house, he is a couple of inches high and about 6 inches long….
It is Badger, Baba’s cuddly badger. He has had him for a while and like most of his cuddly’s has never really taken much notice of him. That is until Monday.
Monday night he decided that he wanted to take him to bed with him. Yesterday everywhere Baba was in the house, Badger was too. He learnt to roll, and to fly (he is a very clever Badger you know) We had him sitting next to Baba for lunch and he even sat on Tito’s back to go for a walk. Baba was having a whale of a time pottering about with his Badger.
By the afternoon, Badger was tired and a bed was made for him in the fruit bowl, with some empty kitchen and toilet rolls for him to hide in and a lavander cushion as his cover. He stayed asleep for all of dinner, and when it was Baba’s bedtime he took the fruit bowl upstairs and decided that Badger should have a cushion as well to lay on, so there was a quick change over from fruit bowl to box as we needed something bigger. Then Badger was got ready for bed, he had a cushion to lay on, his toilet and kitchen rolls for him to hide, his shells to remember the beach, and his Iggle Piggle to make him sleep so he wasn’t scared, and a snowman blanket covering him as it was too cold.
That was it he was sorted for the night, and as far as I can tell this morning he slept well. He was up at 8am and has had some weetabix for breakfast the same as Baba, as this Badger likes all of Baba’s food and is ready for the day.
He is currently sitting on the sofa watching Show Me, Show Me with Baba! So it looks like he may be here a while…
